The Lab Fellowship 

The Crit Lab offers one-three Lab Fellowships each semester session. Partial fellowships may also be awarded. Fellowships are merit and need-based, and are offered to talented artists who might otherwise not be able to participate in the Lab. Fellowships are dependent on funding and are at the sole discretion of The Crit Lab.

Fellowship includes:

Permanent membership in our private Mighty Network
Artist portfolio page on the CL website

Free participation in the CL Flat File. 

Permanent feature on our Fellows page. 

NOTE: Fellowship applicants must fill out both the Lab application AND the Fellowship application in order to be considered. Incomplete Applications will NOT be considered.

All Crit Lab, Residency, AltMFA Fellowships and awards are a one-time award per artist, so we can share the love as much as possible.

Currently we award one-three full and/or partial Fellowships each term. We are working on expanding the program. Please reapply if you are not awarded this term! We also offer generous, interest-free, and flexible payment plans for everyone who joins the Lab.
