Recent years have brought loss to so many of us. The Crit Lab mourns the loss of these talented artists and valued members of our artist community. They are greatly missed both as compassionate dear humans and as vital artists contributing meaning and beauty to our turbulent world.

Art is a space of empathy, where we hold difficulty and beauty in equal measure. Let us consider the ways our work can make a difference in this world- whether small or large.

Hold your dear ones close, life is precious and often too short. We have one another for only a short time- our artist community is a tribe and a family to be held closely and with care. Let’s watch out for one another daily.
